The heart and soul of the Wayfarer is based around our hand crafted beers and excellent food, creating one of the best possible experiences in the village of Parbold, Lancashire.
Our secret is our passion...
and we’d like to share it with you.
From Paul Harries the Chef who began cooking as a toddler with his gran, to Jonny Birkett the Brewer who captures flavours from his imagination, we really do care about what we do.
We have two newly refurbished dining rooms, each offering a unique dining experience. For a more casual feel, why not join us in the cosy ambience of our 18th century pub, one of the oldest and best loved in the area.
A warm welcome awaits you!
to take home with you!
After that long walk in the most beautiful Lancashire countryside why not take a Scallywag, a Good Spankin' or a Scoundrel home with you today. Our passion, love and attention to detail for a good hand crafted, cask conditioned ale or beer is just the ticket for putting your feet up and relaxing in front of the fire at home, or outside in the garden. Orders can be a mixed selection of 12, 6 or 3 bottles. Please ask at the bar for more details...
We cater for all tastes, alongside our hand crafted ales and beers. We stock quality ale from established breweries around the country and Artisan beers from Microbreweries, both local and far. Our interesting range of continental lagers, world beers and ciders are available in craft keg and bottles. Please just ask at the bar.
Above all, we take pride in doing things well...
